PTO

We’re so happy that you’ve decided to join our fantastic organization!  The Anthony Burns Elementary PTO is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization that consists of parents and teachers working together.  The PTO supports our students and staff by assisting in efforts to provide for school needs through volunteering and fundraising. This year, our membership is FREE.  Welcome aboard!

Our Box Tops program can be summed up in one word…SUCCESSFUL!  Since ABES started collecting Box Tops, our school has earned more than $24,000!  Last school year we earned over $2,000!  All this program requires you to do is cut out the box tops (see example) on product packages that you are already using every day and send them into school with your child.  That’s it!  Please remember that we can’t submit expired Box Tops, so check your dates!  Expired Box Tops = no value! Each Box Top earns our school $0.10 and boy does it really add up!  We occasionally send home collection sheets during the school year to make collecting fun and easy.  If you don’t have a collection sheet, or you’ve already filled yours up, send your box tops into school in a baggie with your student’s name and teacher on it.

This program is brand new for our school!  We are excited to be collecting Tyson labels now and we look forward to watching this program grow.  Project A+ is a cash value program.  Each “rip strip”/label is worth $0.24 for our school.  Simply clip the Project A+ label or Tyson “rip strip” (see examples) from participating Tyson products and send it in to school in a baggie/envelope.  Don’t forget to put your student’s name & teacher on what you turn in!

Clipping helps your student’s class too! We keep a running tally after each collection and award the top collecting class at the end of the year.  Every label counts!
